Working at height, done carefully

Sreabh Aeir is my new business. After 20+ years in the trades and industrial work across Ireland, the USA, Australia and the UK, I'm building a rope access and wind turbine maintenance service on solid training, proper equipment records and honest standards.

The name is Irish: sreabh is a stream or current, aeir is "of air". Together, the flow of air that turns a turbine.

Where I work

Rope access first, with wind energy and industrial maintenance experience behind it.

Rope access

Access to blades and towers without cranes. IRATA Level 1 is booked for November 2026, and I'll work alongside a qualified IRATA supervisor until I progress.

Wind energy

Blade repair, leading-edge protection and drone surveys that protect output and extend the life of wind turbines.

Industrial maintenance

Surface preparation, coatings and corrosion sealing for structures and industrial assets, built on years in the trade.

IRATA Level 1 rope access

IRATA is the industry standard for rope access. Level 1 covers the safe use of rope access equipment, rigging, equipment inspection and rescue techniques.

  • Followed by logged site hours towards Level 2

GWO safety training, Remote Emergency First Response Level 3 and fatigue management, so nobody takes a risk they don't need to.

Measured finishes

Coating thickness checks and lightning protection continuity testing are part of the job, not an extra.

Equipment registers and inspection tracking on the Petzl ePPE platform, kept up to date.
